Enterprise Architect – Governance & Multi‑Cloud Resilience

About the role

This senior position provides the highest‑level technical governance across the enterprise’s IT infrastructure. The role is focused on defining and enforcing standards for high availability, resilience, and compliance within a large hybrid and multi‑cloud environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assess current‑state and proposed designs for backup, networking, compute/storage, cloud, and high‑availability solutions, delivering structured gap analyses and actionable recommendations.
• Serve as the reviewing authority on the Architecture Review Board and lead infrastructure due‑diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
• Own enterprise‑architecture standards and governance frameworks aligned to NIST, ISO 27001, SOX, and GDPR.
• Translate technical assessments into executive reports, risk scorecards, and remediation roadmaps for senior leadership.
• Partner with infrastructure, cloud, network, security, and application teams to embed governance into change and delivery processes.
• Influence vendor and technology decisions from a standards and risk perspective.

Required profile

• 10+ years of enterprise‑IT experience, including at least 3 years in governance, architecture review, or enterprise assessment (non‑hands‑on engineering).
• Deep expertise in two or more domains such as backup/recovery, network design, compute/storage, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), or high‑availability design.
• Proven track record leading architecture reviews, gap analyses, and executive‑grade documentation in large, complex organizations.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence C‑suite and board audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT or related field; advanced degree a plus.
