Entity Financial Controller – Group Finance

About the role

We are seeking a Group Entity Financial Controller to join a fast‑growing multinational backed by private equity. The role is based in Ireland with a hybrid working model (three days in the office) and offers a competitive salary package.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Oversee revenue recognition, intercompany reconciliations, inventory valuation, balance‑sheet reviews, AP/AR, payroll and bank reconciliations.
• Deliver consolidated reporting packs to meet group deadlines.
• Monitor operating expenses against budget, drive improvements in gross margin, OPEX, EBITDA, cash flow and working‑capital metrics.
• Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, consolidating inputs from functional owners.
• Optimize working capital by improving DSO, DPO and DIO.
• Handle daily cash positions, prepare cash forecasts and administer treasury transactions.
• Prepare annual statutory accounts and act as primary liaison with auditors, ensuring tax and regulatory compliance.
• Lead and mentor an Accounts Assistant responsible for credit control and AP functions.

Required profile

• Minimum five years post‑qualified experience in a similar finance controller role.
• Strong technical accounting background with solid knowledge of IFRS.
• Proven experience preparing management accounts, annual financial statements and working with auditors.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex financial information to senior stakeholders.
• Detail‑oriented with a strategic outlook on business performance.
