Equipment Engineer – Hybrid, Galway

About the role
We are seeking an Equipment Engineer to join a leading multinational MedTech company in Galway on a hybrid basis. The position is initially offered as an 18‑month fixed‑term contract, providing the opportunity to work on critical equipment projects within a regulated GMP environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design, qualify and validate manufacturing equipment used in medical device production.
- Develop and execute equipment qualification protocols (IQ, OQ, PQ) in compliance with GMP standards.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance, reliability and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve equipment‑related issues and support process optimisation.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years of engineering experience working in a GMP‑regulated environment.
- Proven ability to design and validate equipment for medical‑device manufacturing.
- Experience driving continuous improvement projects.
