Equipment Maintenance Technician – Level 2

About the role

Join Analog Devices’ Limerick wafer‑fabrication cleanroom as a Technician 2 focused on equipment maintenance. You will support a range of high‑tech tools, ensuring they operate reliably in a regulated environment while working on rotating shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Perform planned and unplanned repairs on a variety of semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Conduct root‑cause troubleshooting and fault finding down to the component level.
• Assist in tool development, enhancements and preventive‑maintenance activities.
• Document work using technical manuals, schematics and standard work procedures.
• Present findings, recommendations and lessons learned to the team.

Required profile

• Technical qualification (NFQ Level 6) with relevant experience in equipment maintenance or a regulated manufacturing setting.
• Working towards a bachelor’s degree (NFQ Level 7/8) is desirable.
• Ability to work independently, adapt to changing priorities and collaborate in a diverse team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
