Events Coordinator – Catering Operations

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Events Coordinator to join our catering and events team. You will work closely with the Catering Management team to ensure smooth communication, accurate event planning, and outstanding client service across a range of corporate and social functions.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate event proposals, bookings, and inter‑departmental communication.
• Create and distribute detailed event sheets and ensure accurate billing.
• Respond promptly to client inquiries via email and phone.
• Manage catering systems such as Catertrax, Reclass, and the event booking website.
• Support financial procedures, track event‑related costs, and assist with billing.
• Attend client meetings, offering creative suggestions that match space and service capabilities.
• Deliver the Client Food Program with precision and collaboration.
• Contribute to a positive, fun, and effective working environment for the wider catering team.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of the events or catering industry.
• Confident communicator with excellent attention to detail.
