Finance Business Partner – 6‑month Fixed‑Term Contract

About the role

Our client, a leading organisation in the catering and facilities sector, is looking for a Commercial Finance Business Partner on a six‑month fixed‑term contract. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, you will work across the Dublin office and client sites, providing financial insight, challenge and commercial guidance to improve profitability and working capital.

Key responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with Operations, Sales, Procurement and other business teams to support financial results.
• Prepare weekly flashes, forecasts and annual budgets with clear commentary.
• Deliver high‑quality analysis that drives business decisions and performance improvements.
• Identify margin‑enhancing opportunities such as pricing optimisation and cost reduction.
• Lead profitability and revenue‑growth projects across the contract portfolio.
• Manage working‑capital performance, ensuring cash collection targets and stock days are met.
• Produce accurate month‑end reporting with actionable P&L commentary.
• Maintain a clean balance sheet and support strong financial controls and audit readiness at site level.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a commercial finance business‑partnering role.
• Background in contract catering, hospitality, facilities management or a closely related sector.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to influence operational teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Part‑qualified or qualified accountant (desirable).
