Finance Business Partner

About the role

We are a fast‑growing Irish consultancy seeking a Finance Business Partner to support our UK subsidiary. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will act as the primary finance contact for the UK entity, own the full P&L, and play a key role in an upcoming ERP implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the UK subsidiary on all finance matters, delivering analysis, insights and strategic recommendations.
• Support the commercial team with pricing, invoicing and cash collection.
• Own the accounts payable process, implement a purchase order system and manage creditor terms.
• Manage weekly and monthly cash flow, reporting to the Financial Controller and Managing Director.
• Oversee the monthly payroll process in collaboration with HR and an external provider.
• Maintain ERP master data, train users and contribute to the new ERP rollout.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, including GL postings, reconciliations and journal entries.
• Execute balance‑sheet reconciliations and support the annual audit.
• Liaise with UK tax and statutory compliance partners.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and internal control improvement.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with 2–3 years post‑qualification experience.
• Strong commercial acumen and proven ability to partner with non‑finance stakeholders.
• Continuous‑improvement mindset and ability to thrive in a high‑growth environment.

Required skills

• ERP systems (implementation and data maintenance).
