Finance Business Partner

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Business Partner to join an industry‑leading organisation. In this highly visible role you will influence commercial decisions and work closely with senior leadership across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with directors and senior stakeholders to provide commercial finance support and strategic insight.
• Support bids, tenders, pricing decisions and commercial proposals through financial modelling and analysis.
• Monitor project performance, profitability, budgets and margins, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Prepare revenue, margin, cash‑flow and forecasting reports to support business planning.
• Deliver meaningful financial reporting and commentary to senior leadership.
• Review commercial contracts and support new business opportunities.
• Drive process improvements, strengthen financial controls and enhance reporting.
• Mentor and support a junior member of the finance team.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualified accountant.
• 4+ years post‑qualification experience in finance business partnering, commercial finance or project finance.
• Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and management reporting.
• Knowledge of project accounting, work‑in‑progress, revenue recognition and margin analysis.
• Proven ability to partner with senior stakeholders and influence commercial decisions.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Power BI or similar reporting tools.
