Finance Director – Executive Leadership Team

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Director to join the Executive Leadership Team of a fast‑growing financial services organisation entering the Irish market. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will shape the company’s financial strategy, drive performance and ensure regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the finance function and partner with senior stakeholders to achieve strategic and financial objectives.
• Act as a core member of the Executive Leadership Team, contributing to business planning and growth initiatives.
• Maintain robust financial controls, governance frameworks and accounting policies across the organisation.
• Oversee all regulatory, tax and statutory reporting, ensuring compliance with Central Bank of Ireland requirements.
• Develop, motivate and manage a high‑performing finance team.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Extensive experience in financial services, including financial control, regulatory reporting and FP&A.
• Proven track record at Board or Executive Committee level.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to influence strategic decisions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Eligibility to satisfy Central Bank of Ireland Fitness & Probity requirements for a PCF‑11 role.
