Finance Director – High‑Growth Financial Services (Dublin)

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Director to join a fast‑growing financial services organisation entering the Irish market. Reporting directly to the CEO and sitting on the Executive Leadership Team, you will shape strategy, drive commercial decisions and ensure robust financial governance across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial influence and commercial decision‑making support to the CEO and senior leadership.
• Lead the finance function, overseeing financial control, budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, tax and statutory reporting requirements, including Central Bank of Ireland obligations.
• Maintain governance frameworks, accounting policies and risk management processes.
• Represent finance at Board and Executive Committee meetings, delivering clear insights and recommendations.
• Develop, motivate and manage a high‑performing finance team.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Significant experience in financial services, with deep knowledge of financial control, regulatory reporting and FP&A.
• Proven track record at Board or Executive Committee level.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop finance teams.
• Strong commercial acumen and excellent stakeholder management.
• Ability to satisfy Central Bank of Ireland Fitness & Probity requirements for a PCF‑11 designated role.
