Finance Manager – Payments & Financial Control

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on and technically strong Finance Manager to join our Dublin‑based team. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will own end‑to‑end financial reporting, budgeting, safeguarding oversight and regulatory reporting within a regulated payment institution.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full month‑end and year‑end close process and prepare accurate monthly management accounts with detailed variance analysis.
• Maintain balance‑sheet control, including safeguarding, settlement, accruals, intercompany and multi‑currency reconciliations.
• Ensure reconciliations are documented, reviewed and audit‑ready, and support the preparation of statutory financial statements.
• Oversee revenue capture, investigate discrepancies and monitor cash flow, liquidity and working capital.
• Support and progressively take ownership of the annual budgeting process and financial forecasts.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to senior management and support transfer‑pricing considerations.
• Manage safeguarding reconciliations, settlement monitoring and regulatory reporting submissions to the Central Bank of Ireland.
• Develop, maintain and continuously improve finance policies, procedures and internal controls across all finance cycles.
• Lead finance transformation and automation initiatives to improve efficiency and scalability.

• Proactive individual with experience in a regulated payment institution or financial services environment.
