Finance Officer

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Officer to join our fast‑paced Finance team. You will support General Ledger activities, prepare management accounts and ensure the accuracy of financial information across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly management accounts, accruals, pre‑payments and overhead analysis.
• Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and post monthly depreciation journals.
• Analyse actual costs versus accruals, investigate variances and produce balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Support month‑end close, profit & loss reporting and business unit performance analysis.
• Assist with year‑end audit, statutory accounts and respond to audit queries.
• Manage intercompany ledgers, reconciliations and act as liaison with group entities.
• Contribute to finance projects, system updates and continuous process improvements.

Required profile

• Relevant Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Accounting Technician qualification or part‑qualified (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) considered.
• Experience handling high‑volume workloads and tight deadlines.
• Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Experience in a multi‑currency environment, including FX revaluations and intercompany accounting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
