Finance Specialist

About the role

This Finance Specialist position supports a fast‑scaling digital‑first environment in Ireland. You will ensure financial integrity across reporting, operations, and compliance while collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis to guide strategic decisions.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, payments and collections.
• Prepare financial reports, dashboards and management presentations for internal and client audiences.
• Maintain accurate financial records, reconcile discrepancies and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Monitor cash‑flow performance and recommend improvements for financial efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on project budgets, expense tracking and financial planning.
• Assist with tax filings, statutory reporting, financial statements and audit requirements.
• Contribute to enhancements of financial systems, workflows and operational processes.
• Liaise with vendors, clients and auditors to ensure smooth financial operations.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in finance, accounting or financial analysis, preferably within a marketing, media or service‑based agency.
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Clear and professional communication skills for internal and external stakeholders.
• Proactive, reliable and comfortable working under deadlines with a strong sense of ownership.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting tools such as QuickBooks or Xero.
