About the role
We are seeking a Financial Accountant with at least three years of post‑qualification experience to join a leading sports company. This role offers the chance to combine a passion for sport with professional accounting expertise, supporting the finance team in a dynamic environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in the month‑end and year‑end close processes.
- Analyse financial reconciliations and ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with various departments across the organisation.
- Support the external audit process.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
- Participate in ad‑hoc projects and ongoing process enhancements.
Required profile
- Qualified accountant with a recognised accounting qualification.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in an industry setting.
- Team player capable of working independently and within a group.
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel proficiency.
