About the role
We are seeking a Financial Accountant to manage our general ledger, process invoices and payments, and provide backup support to the accounts payable function. The role involves preparing accurate financial records and statements for external reporting while assisting with budget compilation.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain the general ledger by processing all company invoices, payments, and purchases, ensuring each transaction is recorded accurately and promptly.
- Coordinate and execute account reconciliations to verify balances and resolve discrepancies.
- Review and verify the accuracy of financial and contract paperwork, confirming compliance with internal standards.
- Summarize and prepare financial records and statements for external reporting, delivering clear and reliable information.
- Provide backup support to the accounts payable function, handling tasks as needed to maintain smooth operations.
Required profile
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in Accounting.
- At least 3 years of accounting experience.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
