Financial Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a structured, analytical Financial Accountant to join our fast‑growing automated agricultural company. The role ensures accurate financial management, strong business control, and high‑quality administrative processes across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Manage general ledger, month‑, quarter‑ and year‑end closings, and prepare P&L, balance sheet, budgets and forecasts.
• Review journal entries, balance specifications and reconciliations; act as primary contact for accountants and auditors.
• Prepare VAT and corporate tax filings, ensure fiscal compliance and coordinate audits.
• Translate business objectives into financial impact, monitor margins, cost structures, inventory valuation and profitability.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and Business Review meetings with data‑driven insights.
• Oversee ERP project budgets, cost tracking, COGS, margin analysis and report deviations.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, debtor control, credit management and supplier relationships.
• Drive continuous improvement of financial and business support processes.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Business Administration or related discipline.
• Proven experience in a similar financial/accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting and cost control.
• Understanding of tax compliance and audit processes.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems such as Movex, Business Central or Business Suite.
