Financial Accountant – Newly or Fully Qualified

About the role

We are seeking a newly qualified or fully qualified Financial Accountant to join our Finance team on a permanent, full‑time basis. Working closely with the Head of Finance, you will ensure accurate and timely delivery of group, statutory and regulatory reports in line with IFRS, while supporting liquidity, cash management and tax filing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate preparation and review of quarterly financial statements and management reports.
• Oversee submission of quarterly regulatory returns.
• Assist in the production of annual statutory financial statements under IFRS.
• Manage liquidity, cash management and banking administration activities.
• Support preparation of tax filings.
• Review and improve processes and procedures within the finance function.
• Participate in initiatives to increase departmental and organisational efficiency.
• Carry out ad‑hoc duties and administrative tasks as required.

Required profile

• Qualified Accountant (newly qualified or fully qualified).
• Experience in a professional services firm or similar financial reporting and regulatory environment.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organisational abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proactive, resourceful and innovative in resolving issues.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with SAP reporting tools (advantageous).
