Financial Accountant – Shannon (Ireland)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Financial Accountant to join a global engineering and manufacturing multinational in Shannon. The role offers exposure to both Irish and international business units and provides a platform for career growth within a multinational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the monthly close process and prepare management accounts.
• Analyse costs, budgets and variances to support business decisions.
• Reconcile contract pricing and billing against project data.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements.
• Maintain fixed‑assets registers and produce related reporting.
• Assist with finance‑related projects across the organisation.

Required profile

• 3rd‑level degree in a relevant discipline.
• Fully qualified accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA) with at least 2 years of industry experience.
• Practice or audit background considered for transition to industry.
• Strong analytical and project‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
