Financial Analyst – Payments Team

About the role

Join the Barclaycard International Payments Team in Dublin as a Financial Analyst. You will manage the financial operations of the organisation, ensuring the accuracy, integrity and reliability of financial reporting while supporting regulatory and tax compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily client funds reconciliation and monthly regulatory data analysis (e.g., Integrated Data Set).
• Conduct FX and liquidity analysis, ensuring cost‑efficient funding of key bank accounts.
• Provide ad‑hoc data analysis and support Irish & European regulatory submissions.
• Assist with month‑end close, monthly reporting, forecasting and tax compliance (VAT, VIES, CT, 46G).
• Support external and internal audits and respond to on‑demand requests and projects.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of new processes and business development initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong background in data analysis and database management.
• Experience with client funds reconciliation and regulatory reporting.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Good understanding of Irish and European financial regulations.
