Financial Controller – Finance Leader for Irish Operations

About the role

This newly created Finance Leader position will head all finance operations for a private‑equity backed firm specialising in alternative investments. The role is based in Ireland and offers the opportunity to shape the financial function across a broad range of activities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the entire Irish finance function, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
• Oversee accounting, tax, budgeting and financial reporting for the organisation.
• Provide financial oversight for investments, special purpose vehicles (SPVs) and fund structures.
• Develop and maintain robust financial controls and reporting frameworks.

Required profile

• Fully qualified accountant with relevant post‑qualification experience (PQE).
• Demonstrated exposure to investment‑related finance, including SPVs and funds.
• Broad experience across accounting principles, tax, budgeting and reporting.
