Financial Controller – Finance & Operations

About the role

The Financial Controller will provide strategic financial direction, governance and operational control for EM3’s international business. Reporting to the Director‑Ireland, the role ensures financial integrity through planning, reporting, compliance and risk management while partnering with senior leadership and operational teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage day‑to‑day finance operations across the organisation.
• Ensure accuracy, integrity and timeliness of all financial reporting.
• Develop and maintain a robust financial control framework.
• Drive continuous improvement of financial processes, systems and controls.
• Support the CFO in shaping financial strategy and long‑term business planning.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, taxation and corporate governance requirements.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts.
• Deliver detailed financial analysis and performance reporting to senior management and shareholders.
• Monitor key financial metrics, identify trends and provide recommendations to improve performance.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end close activities.

Required profile

• Commercially minded finance professional capable of supporting rapid business growth.
• Proven experience in financial planning, reporting, compliance and risk management.
• Strong business partnering skills with senior leadership and international stakeholders.
• Ability to drive process improvement and deliver actionable insights for strategic decision‑making.
