Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking a Group Financial Controller to join a market‑leading, fast‑growing Dublin‑based company. Reporting to the CEO and COO, you will own the financial operations across the group and provide insight that drives strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead preparation of group management accounts, including variance analysis, balance‑sheet reviews and forecasting.
• Oversee budgeting, financial planning and cash‑flow management.
• Ensure accurate costing and inventory valuation.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll functions.
• Maintain strong financial controls, policies and multi‑jurisdiction VAT/duty compliance.
• Lead internal audit activities and report findings to senior leadership.
• Partner with operational teams to support business performance.
• Support audit, tax and external advisor relationships.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives, financial modelling and potential acquisitions.

Required profile

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) with a relevant degree.
• Minimum 10 + years’ experience in a finance leadership role.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and support strategic decisions.
• Experience in an SME or high‑growth environment is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical skills and high attention to detail.
