Financial Controller

About the role

This is a rare opportunity to join a market‑leading Irish business that is experiencing an exciting phase of growth. You will become part of a high‑performing finance team that offers extensive exposure to commercial decision‑making and strategic projects, working closely with senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, balance‑sheet reconciliations and year‑end financial statements.
• Develop presentations and insightful financial analysis for senior management to support decision‑making and value creation.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts and long‑term strategic plans.
• Partner with operational teams across the business to provide financial support and commercial insights.
• Monitor overheads, identify cost‑saving initiatives and drive continuous improvement within the finance function.
• Support the CFO on ad‑hoc commercial and strategic finance projects.
• Liaise with senior stakeholders and external advisors as required.

Required profile

• Qualified Accountant with 8+ years post‑qualification experience.
• Training in a Big 4 or Top 10 accounting practice.
• Industry experience in a commercial business environment.
• Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders.
• Ambitious individual seeking long‑term progression within a growing Irish business.
