Financial Controller – Network Security

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Finance leader to join Enea’s Network Security business unit in Dublin. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for financial control, reporting, compliance and governance while providing commercial insight to support business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and delivery of monthly consolidated management accounts, reconciliations and finance close in line with Group policies.
• Own revenue recognition and deferred revenue calculations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Maintain a robust control environment, documenting processes and ensuring audit‑readiness.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow planning and performance reporting with clear assumptions and timely insights.
• Partner with project managers and business leaders on revenue and cash forecasting, margin visibility and risk assessment.
• Oversee audit preparation, statutory reporting, tax compliance and multi‑jurisdiction payroll.
• Lead, develop and motivate a small finance support team, fostering a collaborative and accountable culture.

Required profile

• Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, ACA or equivalent).
• At least 5 years of experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance control role.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, especially revenue recognition, deferred revenue and audit readiness.
• Proven ability to prepare management accounts, budgets, forecasts and financial analysis.
• Excellent communication skills in English, capable of influencing senior stakeholders.
