Financial Planner – Private Wealth Management

About the role

Unio Financial Services is seeking a Financial Planner to join its Private Wealth Management team. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality financial planning for private clients across Ireland, supporting the company’s commitment to client‑centric service and ambitious growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, assess and refine financial planning scenarios using Voyant software, aligned with clients’ objectives.
• Gather and verify client information by liaising directly with clients and external providers.
• Identify additional planning opportunities and communicate them to Private Client Advisers.
• Prepare clear reports that outline wealth and cash‑flow projections, personal goals and recommended actions.
• Review and update client plans as circumstances change, recommending realignment strategies.
• Brief the Wealth Management team on legislative and technical changes affecting planning solutions.
• Collaborate with fellow Financial Planners to manage priorities and ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain strong relationships across the Wealth Management team to uphold high service standards.

Required profile

• Minimum QFA certification (or equivalent) meeting Central Bank of Ireland competency requirements.
• CFP qualification (partial or full) is an advantage.
• At least 3 years of experience in financial services with a solid understanding of financial planning.
• Strong technical knowledge of planning products, tax and legislative implications.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to simplify complex financial information.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Voyant financial planning software.
