Fractional Vice President of Global Marketing (10‑12 month contract)

About the role

This is a 10‑12 month fractional appointment providing executive leadership for a global marketing function while the permanent Vice President is on maternity leave. The role is part‑time (20‑25 hours per week) and can be performed remotely with occasional collaboration from the Galway office.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain continuity of strategic initiatives across New Product Development, Product Management, Creative Services, Communications, Marketing Operations and Digital Marketing.
• Provide executive oversight of the company’s global e‑commerce transformation, focusing on CMS, sales‑funnel optimisation and revenue growth.
• Conduct an independent review of the Global Marketing organisation, identifying improvements to structure, processes and operating model.
• Support seven direct reports, remove barriers, develop leadership capability and ensure progress on key projects.
• Deliver regular executive updates and recommendations to the Vice President throughout the maternity leave period.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Vice President of Marketing, Chief Marketing Officer or equivalent senior marketing leader.
• Proven track record leading global marketing organisations, preferably in health & wellness, consumer products, medical devices or direct selling.
• Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking and ability to coach senior teams.
• Experience managing cross‑functional teams in complex, multinational environments.
