Freelance Software Engineer – AI Trainer

About the role

We are seeking a Freelance Software Engineer to join DataAnnotation’s AI training team. You will work remotely on a flexible schedule, creating and refining coding challenges that help improve state‑of‑the‑art AI models. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving diverse programming problems and contributing directly to AI development.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement coding problems focused on Android development and other domains to train AI systems.
• Write clear, high‑quality code snippets and detailed explanations for each problem.
• Evaluate AI‑generated code for accuracy, performance, and readability.
• Provide constructive feedback that influences the next generation of AI models.

Required profile

• Fluent English (native or bilingual level).
• Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in a relevant field.
• Previous experience as a software developer, coder, or programmer.

Required skills

• Kotlin (preferred for Android development).
• Proficiency in at least one of the following: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, Swift.
