Freight Administrator

About the role

The Global Freight Administrator will support international logistics and freight operations for events, trade fairs, sporting and conference activities. Based at Dublin Airport, you will coordinate shipments across air, sea and road, ensuring smooth customs clearance and cost‑effective delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate international freight shipments for global events using air, sea and road transport.
• Monitor shipment schedules, customs clearance processes and final deliveries.
• Prepare, maintain and file all required shipping and customs documentation.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers and warehouse partners.
• Track shipments and provide regular operational updates to internal stakeholders.
• Maintain logistics systems, generate reports and keep accurate freight records.
• Support freight invoice reconciliation and drive process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with international trade, import and export regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in freight forwarding or logistics.
• Strong understanding of import/export documentation and customs procedures.
• Knowledge of international shipping methods and logistics processes.
• Experience using ERP or transport management systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
