Fresh Meat Assistant

About the role
We are looking for a Fresh Meat Assistant to help run our Meat Department efficiently, delivering high‑quality products and excellent service to our customers.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain retail cuts to a high standard, meeting customer needs.
- Drive sales by following SOPs and store standards daily.
- Merchandise and present the department according to planograms.
- Control stock rotation to ensure freshness and quality.
- Manage waste and shrink, keeping loss to a minimum.
- Stay up‑to‑date with new products and initiatives, sharing ideas with the team.
- Engage with new initiatives and embrace new ways of working.
Required profile
- Excellent communication skills.
- Numerical ability.
- Customer‑focused with a passion for food.
- Team player able to work in a fast‑paced environment and multitask under pressure.
- No prior experience required – full training provided.
