Front Desk Receptionist

About the role

ReproMed is seeking a friendly and organised Front Desk Receptionist to be the first point of contact for patients attending its busy fertility clinic in Galway. You will play a pivotal role in creating a welcoming environment while supporting the day‑to‑day administrative flow of the clinic.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients in person, by phone and email.
• Schedule, confirm and manage appointments for medical staff.
• Prepare patient charts and documentation ahead of consultations.
• Process payments, invoices and insurance claims.
• Maintain accurate patient records using the clinic’s patient management system.
• Liaise with clinical teams, laboratories, pharmacies and third‑party providers.
• Carry out general administrative duties such as filing, scanning and reporting.
• Ensure confidentiality of patient information in line with GDPR.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organisational ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
• Proactive problem‑solving attitude.
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
• Previous reception or administrative experience is desirable but not essential.
