Frontend Developer (React)

About the role

This position is for a Frontend Developer specializing in React, based in Ireland. You will join a product‑focused development team building innovative digital solutions for large‑scale user communities. The role offers autonomy, the chance to influence technical decisions, and exposure to the full product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance modern web applications using React and related frontend technologies.
• Collaborate with development teams and technical leadership to deliver new product features and improvements.
• Participate in application architecture design and contribute to technical decision‑making.
• Select, evaluate, and implement tools, frameworks, and development practices that support project goals.
• Perform code reviews and ensure high standards of code quality, performance, and maintainability.
• Create responsive, interactive, and optimized user interfaces.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend services via RESTful APIs.
• Support troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and adherence to version control, testing, deployment, and CI/CD workflows.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional experience developing web applications.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience with React.js in production.
• Strong understanding of object‑oriented and functional programming principles.
• Experience building interactive, responsive, high‑performance user interfaces.
• Proficiency with state‑management solutions such as Redux or Flux.
• Advanced knowledge of CSS, styling methodologies, and browser rendering processes.
• Experience with Git‑based version control systems (GitHub or GitLab).
• Solid knowledge of modern JavaScript (ES6‑ES8) and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and deployment workflows.
