Frontend Web Developer – HTML & CSS (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Frontend Web Developer with strong HTML and CSS expertise to join a high‑traffic platform project on a contract basis. The role is fully remote and involves turning design mock‑ups into responsive, pixel‑perfect user interfaces while ensuring cross‑browser compatibility and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front‑end components using HTML, CSS and related technologies.
• Implement responsive layouts and mobile‑first designs across various devices.
• Collaborate with design teams to translate Figma, Sketch or similar mock‑ups into functional UI elements.
• Ensure cross‑browser compatibility and adherence to accessibility standards.
• Optimize front‑end performance and conduct code reviews.

Required profile

• Proven experience building responsive web interfaces.
• Strong understanding of semantic markup and modern CSS techniques.
• Familiarity with CSS preprocessors or utility frameworks.
• Ability to use browser developer tools for debugging and optimization.
