About the role
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer‑focused Shop Assistant to join our team at EUROSPAR Cloughvalley. You will help deliver excellent customer service, maintain high store standards, and support the smooth day‑to‑day running of the store.
Key responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service at all times.
- Operate tills accurately and handle cash/card transactions.
- Replenish stock and ensure shelves are clean, organised, and fully stocked.
- Check pricing, product quality, and stock rotation.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the store.
- Follow all food safety, health and safety, and company procedures.
- Work as part of a team to achieve store targets and operational goals.
Required profile
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced retail environment.
- Reliable, flexible, and a strong team player.
- Previous retail experience is desirable but not essential.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
