Full‑Time Flexible Kitchen Porter

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time, flexible Kitchen Porter to join the busy kitchen team at the 4‑star Grand Hotel in Malahide. Working closely with the Head Chef, you will help maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety and overall kitchen cleanliness.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain operational hygiene across all kitchen areas in line with hotel and health‑and‑safety regulations.
• Perform cleaning duties according to the schedule and complete daily/weekly checklists.
• Clean and store pots, pans and other kitchen equipment correctly.
• Carry out deep cleaning of kitchen equipment, storage and work areas as required.
• Assist with stock rotation and receive deliveries.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic, motivated and hardworking individual.
• Strong commitment to quality, high standards and customer care.
• Ability to work fully flexible hours, including shifts outside normal train/bus times.
• Own transport to and from Malahide (public transport not suitable).
• Previous experience in a similar kitchen porter role is preferred.
