General Maintenance Operative

About the role

Aramark Property is seeking a General Maintenance Operative to join its team across a diverse portfolio of properties in Ireland. You will work under the maintenance team manager, handling a daily list of tickets and ensuring properties are kept in excellent condition.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out multi‑discipline maintenance and repairs (plumbing, plastering, carpentry, groundwork, painting) inside and outside designated properties.
• Maintain required standards of work and keep all site logs, records and documentation up to date.
• Use initiative to resolve issues on site and communicate regularly with Property Managers.
• Drive company vehicles responsibly and ensure all hand and power tools meet health and safety regulations.
• Identify and report health, safety and welfare risks to the manager or H&S representative.

Required profile

• Valid Safe Pass and a full, clean Irish or EU driving licence.
• Trade experience in carpentry, bricklaying, ground works, plastering, minor plumbing and electrical repairs.
• Proven ability to use hand tools, solve problems and conduct fault finding.
• Capability to read technical manuals and drawings.
• Preferred experience in property/facilities management and certifications for manual handling, working at height and confined spaces.
