General Practitioner – Permanent Whole‑time Position in Naas

About the role

The Health Service Executive (HSE) is recruiting a General Practitioner to join its Dublin and Midlands region, based in Naas, Co. Kildare. This is a permanent, whole‑time position with a provisional start date of 1 September 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Provide primary care services to patients within the local community.
• Deliver comprehensive medical consultations, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with HSE standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the Dublin and Midlands health region.

Required profile

• Qualified through a recognised Vocational Training Scheme.
• Own GP premises ready for operation by the start date.
• Documented evidence of English language proficiency.
• Ability to work onsite in Naas and serve the surrounding catch‑area.
