Global Mobility & Employment Tax Specialist – Dublin

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Global Mobility & Employment Tax Specialist to join the Finance & Tax team of a leading international engineering and construction group. Based in Dublin with a hybrid working model, you will shape and manage the company’s global mobility programme across multiple European jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end international assignments, including short‑term, long‑term and permanent relocations across Europe.
• Coordinate business travel and cross‑border working arrangements, acting as the primary contact for employees and internal stakeholders.
• Oversee expatriate tax compliance, liaise with external advisors, and ensure timely tax filings, equalisation, gross‑ups and social security matters.
• Assist in designing expatriate compensation packages, prepare salary simulations, cost projections and manage mobility‑related allowances.
• Partner with Operations Directors and senior leaders to provide guidance on mobility policies and employment tax issues.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the global mobility framework and reporting processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in global mobility and employment tax across multiple European jurisdictions.
• Strong understanding of cross‑border tax, payroll withholding, tax equalisation and social security.
• Excellent analytical abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
• Effective stakeholder management and the ability to work collaboratively with international teams.
