About the role
This graduate programme offers an entry‑level opportunity to launch a career in investment operations and fund services within a leading international financial services organisation. You will work alongside experienced professionals on meaningful projects while receiving comprehensive training, mentoring and support towards professional qualifications.
Key responsibilities
- Support the day‑to‑day servicing and administration of a diverse portfolio of investment funds.
- Analyse financial and operational data to identify trends, investigate exceptions and support decision‑making.
- Assist with fund accounting, reconciliations, investment operations and reporting activities.
- Monitor investment portfolios and support risk oversight, compliance and governance processes.
- Prepare reports for internal stakeholders, clients and regulatory bodies.
- Work collaboratively with teams across Operations, Finance, Risk, Compliance and Client Services.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and help identify opportunities to enhance efficiency through technology and automation.
- Develop a strong understanding of financial markets, investment products and the regulatory environment.
- Build trusted relationships with colleagues, clients and external partners while delivering a high standard of service.
Required profile
- A Bachelor's degree (or expected degree) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Data Analytics or another numerate discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.
- Commercial awareness and a genuine interest in financial markets and investment management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A proactive attitude, willingness to learn and confidence to take ownership of work.
- Previous internship, placement or work experience is beneficial but not required.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
