Graphic Designer – Communications Team

About the role

We are looking for a creative and motivated Graphic Designer to join our Communications team at GOAL’s Dublin headquarters. Reporting to the Head of Communication, you will help translate the organisation’s humanitarian impact into compelling visual stories across digital, print and multimedia channels.

Key responsibilities

• Design engaging visual content for social media, website, campaigns, reports and print materials.
• Support the evolution and consistency of GOAL’s global brand and visual identity.
• Collaborate with colleagues across multiple teams and countries to bring stories and impact to life.
• Translate complex information into clear, compelling graphics and presentations.
• Produce high‑quality creative assets in various formats, including graphics, presentations and video.
• Manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment while meeting deadlines.
• Contribute fresh ideas to strengthen GOAL’s communications and storytelling.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of graphic design experience (agency, in‑house or NGO).
• Qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Digital Media or related field.
• Strong portfolio showcasing work across digital and print.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and a collaborative mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite – InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Experience designing for social media and digital platforms.
• Understanding of branding, layout and visual storytelling.
• Video editing skills are a plus.
