Ground Works Technician

About the role

GeoBear is seeking a full‑time Ground Works Technician to join its Leinster site team. The role involves delivering specialist geotechnical ground improvement solutions while maintaining high standards of safety and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the site team in executing specialist geotechnical procedures according to engineered designs.
• Operate drilling machinery and related tools to perform ground improvement works.
• Follow written and verbal instructions from on‑site management to meet specifications, deadlines and quality targets.
• Travel to and work on offshore or remote sites as required, with accommodation and meals provided.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in construction, groundworks, geotechnical works or civil engineering.
• Valid HGV driving licence.
• Ability to work safely and adhere to site health‑and‑safety procedures.
• Willingness to work away from home when needed.

Required skills

• Operation of drilling machinery.
• Plumbing experience for drainage protection (beneficial).
• Basic knowledge of groundworks and geotechnical procedures.
