Group Financial Accountant

About the role

The Group Financial Accountant is central to Cora Systems' finance function, overseeing core operational processes that keep the fast‑growing international SaaS group running smoothly. You will work closely with the Financial Controller, Head of FP&A and cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate, timely, and insightful financial data.

Key responsibilities

• Own key elements of month‑end close for Irish and US entities, including deferred schedules and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Manage order‑to‑cash and billing in NetSuite, maintain the ARR register and ensure clean customer data.
• Maintain and reconcile the Group cash‑flow forecast, monitor liquidity and challenge vendor terms.
• Prepare ARR and revenue reporting, including renewal metrics.
• Coordinate global payroll, journal entries and pension submissions.
• Prepare Irish VAT returns, Revenue (ROS) submissions and other statutory filings.
• Consolidate monthly travel & expenses reporting for senior management.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities using AI tools and NetSuite functionality.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 3+ years progressive experience in financial accounting, preferably in a SaaS or technology environment.
• Part‑qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent).
