Group Financial Controller – Hybrid (Dublin South)

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing, private‑equity‑backed group that is scaling through acquisitions. The business is seeking a Group Financial Controller to act as the right‑hand to the Group CFO, driving finance operations across a multi‑entity environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day finance activities including month‑end close, cash‑flow management and financial reporting.
• Implement and maintain robust financial controls, governance frameworks and reporting standards.
• Drive process improvements, tighter timelines and higher reporting quality.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis for the whole group.
• Reshape and develop the existing finance team, introducing greater rigour and accountability.
• Support post‑acquisition integration by standardising processes, reporting and controls across entities.
• Partner closely with the CFO to free them for strategic, growth and investor‑focused work.
• Review and evolve the finance systems landscape as the business scales.

Required profile

• ACA (or equivalent) qualification with approximately 6+ years post‑qualification experience in industry.
• Strong background in financial control covering the full finance lifecycle.
• Self‑starter with a “gets it done” attitude, comfortable in fast‑moving, evolving environments.
• Commercially minded, pragmatic and able to challenge and drive change.
• Experience in M&A or integration projects is a plus, but not mandatory.
