Group Financial Controller – Hybrid (Dublin South)

About the role

This is a pivotal, senior‑level position within a fast‑growing, private‑equity‑backed group. Reporting directly to the Group CFO, the Group Financial Controller will act as the finance function’s number two, helping to shape a scalable finance organisation across multiple entities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day finance operations, including month‑end close, cash‑flow management and statutory reporting.
• Implement and maintain robust financial controls, governance frameworks and reporting standards.
• Drive continuous improvement of processes, timelines and reporting quality.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis for the whole group.
• Manage and develop the existing finance team, reshaping structure and introducing greater rigor.
• Support post‑acquisition integration by standardising processes, reporting and controls across newly acquired entities.
• Partner closely with the CFO to free them for strategic, growth and investor‑focused activities.

Required profile

• ACA (or equivalent) professional accounting qualification.
• Approximately 6+ years post‑qualification experience in industry finance roles.
• Strong background in financial control and full finance lifecycle management.
• Self‑starter with a pragmatic, commercial mindset and ability to thrive in a fast‑changing environment.
• Experience in M&A or integration projects is advantageous but not essential.
