Group Financial Controller – Hybrid (Dublin South)

About the role

We are partnering with a high‑growth, private‑equity‑backed company that is scaling rapidly following recent investment and multiple acquisitions. The Group Financial Controller will act as the number‑two to the Group CFO, leading the finance function across the organisation and supporting integration of new businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Own day‑to‑day finance operations, including month‑end close, cash‑flow management and financial reporting.
• Implement and maintain robust financial controls, governance frameworks and reporting standards.
• Drive process improvements, enhance timelines and reporting quality.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis activities.
• Manage and develop the existing finance team, reshaping structure and introducing greater rigor.
• Support post‑acquisition integration by standardising processes, reporting and controls across entities.
• Partner closely with the Group CFO to enable strategic focus on growth and investors.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification (ACA or equivalent) with approximately 6+ years post‑qualification experience in industry.
• Strong background in financial control covering the full finance lifecycle.
• Self‑starter with a “gets it done” mindset, comfortable in fast‑moving, evolving environments.
• Commercially minded, pragmatic and solutions‑focused, able to challenge and drive change.
• Experience in M&A or integration work is a plus, but not essential.
