Group Head of FP&A

About the role

This newly created Group Head of FP&A will work directly with the CFO and senior leadership team to shape the company’s growth strategy. Based in Dublin with hybrid working, the role combines financial leadership with commercial decision‑making in a fast‑paced, private‑equity environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Group’s financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Develop and maintain 3‑year and 5‑year strategic business plans in partnership with the CFO and executive team.
• Provide strategic financial analysis and decision support to the Executive Leadership Team and Board.
• Deliver commercial analysis to improve profitability, cash generation and operational performance.
• Support M&A activity, investment appraisals and business‑case development through robust financial modelling.
• Build strong relationships with private‑equity stakeholders and internal business partners.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant with 8‑10 years post‑qualification experience.
• Background in FP&A senior management within multinational, large corporate or private‑equity‑backed businesses.
• Experience in commercial finance or financial services seeking broader commercial exposure.
• Proven ability to partner with business leaders and influence strategic decisions.
• Strong commercial acumen and comfort in high‑growth, fast‑changing environments.
