About the role
We are seeking an experienced Communications leader to shape and execute a global communications strategy for an international consumer organisation. Reporting to the Director of Communications, you will be based in Dublin and work closely with senior leaders across multiple markets.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement an integrated communications strategy to build trust with internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead the global communications and press office function, managing media relationships worldwide.
- Provide senior counsel on strategic business milestones, issues and crises.
- Own leadership and internal communications, acting as a two‑way conduit between senior leaders and the wider business.
- Collaborate with the corporate affairs team to ensure consistent and credible storytelling.
- Lead a high‑performing Dublin‑based communications team and coordinate efforts between the centre and local markets.
Required profile
- Tertiary qualification in Communications or a related discipline.
- Minimum 12 years of senior communications experience in large, international, consumer‑facing organisations.
- Proven ability to lead integrated communications programmes in a complex, matrixed, multi‑market environment.
- Extensive experience working with media, senior leaders and external stakeholders at Executive and Board level.
- Resilient, can‑do attitude with strong commercial acumen and the ability to translate strategy into compelling narratives.
- Hands‑on driver of communication outcomes and reputation management.
