Head of Digital

About the role

The Head of Digital will lead Choice Stores' digital business, driving profitable online sales and delivering a market‑leading omnichannel experience. Reporting to the Senior Leadership Team, this role owns the commercial performance of all digital channels and ensures digital investment fuels sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company’s digital strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
• Own revenue, gross margin, profitability and ROI for digital channels.
• Create annual digital trading plans, budgets and performance targets.
• Define the digital roadmap, prioritising capabilities, technologies and investments.
• Lead eCommerce operations, optimise website performance, merchandising, pricing and promotions.
• Improve site usability, navigation, search, checkout and conversion through data‑led optimisation.
• Drive customer acquisition and retention across SEO, PPC, Google Shopping, paid social, display, YouTube and email marketing.
• Champion digital transformation, leveraging AI, automation and emerging technologies.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in digital commerce or digital strategy.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering profitable online growth.
• Data‑driven decision‑making mindset, comfortable with analytics and performance metrics.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and steer cross‑functional initiatives.
