Head of Group Financial Reporting

About the role

We are seeking a Head of Group Financial Reporting to lead the group reporting function for a multi‑entity organisation operating in Ireland and the UK. Reporting to the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering accurate consolidated accounts, ensuring statutory compliance and providing financial insight to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare consolidated monthly management accounts and annual financial statements for the group.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end close processes, including inter‑company reconciliations.
• Oversee the annual external audit from planning through to completion.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and treasury activities across the group.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies, reporting standards and drive process automation.
• Provide board reporting and financial analysis to senior leadership.
• Monitor changes in accounting standards, tax and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of senior financial reporting experience, preferably in a multi‑entity environment.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and consolidation expertise.
• Proven ability to work at senior level with the senior leadership team.
