Head of Marketing and Communications

About the role

Retail Excellence Ireland is seeking a dynamic Head of Marketing and Communications to lead the digital transformation of Ireland’s retail sector. You will shape the organisation’s voice, drive member engagement and champion innovative storytelling across multiple channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive digital strategy covering website, social media and email marketing.
• Create compelling content and campaigns that unite and inspire the retail community.
• Lead member communications, including targeted newsletters and event promotion.
• Analyse performance data, track KPIs and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Oversee the production of marketing collateral, infographics and data visualisations while ensuring brand consistency.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high‑impact projects on time and budget.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing and communications, preferably within a membership or retail environment.
• Proven track record of leading digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to turn data into strategic decisions.
• Excellent project‑management and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
