Head of Sales

About the role

This senior sales leadership position offers full autonomy to shape and drive the commercial strategy of a market‑leading Irish construction company. You will lead a national sales function, manage a team of seven direct reports and own the end‑to‑end sales process across Ireland, with a hybrid office base in Dublin and regular nationwide travel.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the national sales team, setting strategy and targets.
• Own pipeline management, forecasting and key‑account oversight.
• Drive major project delivery and commercial opportunities with main contractors, developers and architects.
• Engage at Project Manager and Contracts Manager level on complex, project‑based sales cycles.
• Provide hands‑on support in the field and act as a senior stakeholder for critical accounts.

Required profile

• Proven senior sales leader with a strong track record in sales management and business development within the construction sector.
• Background in glazing, building envelope, ventilation or related construction products is highly desirable.
• Strategic, process‑driven and commercially sharp with the ability to lead high‑performing teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and confidence engaging senior‑level contractors and developers.
• Based within one hour of Dublin and holder of a full, clean Irish driving licence.

Required skills

What we offer

• Base salary €90,000 – €110,000 (DOE) with progression potential.
• On‑target earnings approx. 20%.
